142 Pakistanis stranded in India returned home from Wagah border

Out of 175 Pakistanis stranded in India, 142 returned home from the Wagah border.

All returning passengers were transferred to the quarantine center where they will be allowed to return home once the Corona test is cleared.

It may be recalled that Pakistanis returning home were stranded in various Indian states of Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Indian Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and New Delhi due to lockdown.

The Foreign Office spokesman added that 400 Pakistanis have been repatriated from India since March 20, while the repatriation of more Pakistanis will continue through the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi.

On the other hand, 249 passengers have reached Multan by special flight from Doha and have been shifted to quarantine center.
