A rickshaw that did not pay dozens of challans got into the hands of the police
Punjab Safe City Authority seized a non-paying rickshaw with ’49E challan’ which was stopped by the police at the police station.
According to the spokesman of Punjab Safe City Authority, the rickshaw was caught by the Safe City cameras near District Court Chowk after which the wardens stopped the rickshaw at Lower Mall police station.
According to the spokesperson, the total amount owed by the rickshaw owner is Rs 9,800.
According to the spokesperson, joint operations of Safe City and traffic police are underway against non-paying challan vehicles and owners of 5 or more non-paying challan vehicles are being informed through EMS.
