Aisam-ul-Haq found it difficult to hold international tennis competitions early

Pakistani tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq says it is very difficult to start large-scale international tennis activities immediately in the era of Code-19.

Sports activities have started in many countries these days, baseball and football league competitions have started without spectators, and now cricket activities are also being planned to start with SOPs.

In this regard, Pakistan’s tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq is not seeing the start of international tennis competitions soon.

Aisam-ul-Haq says that it is very difficult to start international tennis during Code-19, players come from all over the world to participate in any major tournament, it is not like cricket or football. That there are only teams from two countries and they should be kept in one place, all SOPs should be completed and then matches should be held.

“Tennis players don’t know which flights they take from their country to play tournaments, so it’s very difficult to test them and then quarantine them,” he said. I think starting big international tournaments is not as easy as it is in football and cricket.

Aisam-ul-Haq says that it is easy to hold an event while living in the same country and SOPs can also be completed in it.

Tournaments can be held at the local level with security measures, as well as exhibition matches, but international tennis tournaments, especially the Grand Slam, will take time to begin.

Aisam-ul-Haq believes that tennis fans can also be gathered at local events or that there is no problem in holding matches with fans in places where the risks of corona virus are low. Small tournaments will start in the coming days. If so, they will be temporarily without fans.

It should be noted that in the first phase of the sports competitions are being held behind closed doors without spectators.
