All board exams are cancelled so there should be no confusion:
An important meeting was held today between the Ministry of Education with the aim of presenting a comprehensive and final policy on cancellation of examinations.
Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood has made it clear that all board exams have been cancelled and there should be no confusion. Eighty percent of students have no problem with this decision because a large number of parents, students and teachers have expressed satisfaction over the decision to cancel the exam.
He added that there are some percentage of students who need special attention. For example, those who wanted to repeat, to improve their marks and private students are included and whose problem is discussed. It is also very important to do so. The Federal Minister of Education said that a final decision will be taken by Friday.
However, the meeting ended without a final decision. The chairmen of the boards asked for more time to finalize the recommendations about to promote all the students without exams 2020. All Pakistan Board Chairmen joined the meeting through video link.
The Ministry of Education is currently in consultation with the country’s 29 boards to address the issue by including some students in the promotion policy. In his tweet, he made it clear that a comprehensive policy would be announced this Friday.

انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ کچھ فیصد ایسے طلبہ ہیں جن پر خصوصی توجہ کی ضرورت ہے۔ مثال کے طور پر ، وہ لوگ جو دہرانا چاہتے تھے ، اپنے نمبروں کو بہتر بنانے اور نجی طلبہ کو شامل کیا جاتا ہے اور جن کے مسئلے پر تبادلہ خیال کیا جاتا ہے۔ ایسا کرنا بھی بہت ضروری ہے۔ وفاقی وزیر تعلیم کا کہنا تھا کہ حتمی فیصلہ جمعہ تک لیا جائے گا۔

وزارت تعلیم فی الحال کچھ طلباء کو پروموشن پالیسی میں شامل کرکے اس مسئلے کو حل کرنے کے لئے ملک کے 29 بورڈز سے مشاورت کررہی ہے۔ اپنی ٹویٹ میں ، انہوں نے واضح کیا کہ ایک جامع پالیسی کا اعلان اس جمعہ کو کیا جائے گا۔
