Announcement of medical supplementary exams in Punjab

Lahore: For the first time after the lockdown in Punjab, MBBS and BDS supplementary examinations have been announced.

Educational activities were suspended from March and a lockdown was imposed in view of the outbreak of the corona epidemic across the country. However, for the first time since the lockdown, supplementary medical examinations have been announced in Punjab province. According to Vice Chancellor University of Health Sciences Professor Javed Akram, preparations have been completed for the supplementary examinations of MBBS and BDS in Punjab which will continue from June 1 to June 20.

Prof. Javed Akram said that 16 centers have been set up for supplementary examinations where corona tests of 81 supervising supervisors have been conducted. He said that precautionary measures against corona have been taken in the examination centers.

Prof. Javed Akram said that a total of 1,048 candidates are participating in the supplementary exams.

He said that disinfection of examination centers was in progress, hand sanitizers would be installed at entrances and exits and a distance of at least 2 meters between the candidates would be ensured.

Prof. Javed Akram said that candidates without masks would not be allowed to sit for the examination and strict implementation of SOPs for supplementary examinations has been ordered.
