In Pakistan, where Turkey’s most popular historical drama, Ertugrul Ghazi, is being praised for being aired on state TV, a new debate has begun over whether to air the drama.
Several showbiz actors Haroon Shahid, Bilal Ashraf and Hamza Ali Abbasi encouraged the airing of the play ‘Ertugrul Ghazi’.
On the other hand, actress Reema, Shaan Shahid and Gibran Nasir criticized the broadcast of the play in Pakistan.
Now Pakistani actor and comedian Yasir Hussain has also lashed out at the airing of ‘Ertugrul Ghazi’ on state TV.
Commenting on the story on his Instagram account, Yasir Hussain wrote, “PTV should make a historical drama and use its artists and technicians, artists who pay taxes and are qualified.”
The actor added that both Linde’s clothes and Turkish dramas would destroy the local industry.
Yasir Hussain said that when your brother will be fired from the bank, sister from school and Abu from his job, jobs will be given to Turkish people, then you may have guessed what I am saying.
The actor finally wrote that Pakistan Television Network is a state TV, remember.
