The purpose of closing the Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program Payment Centers for two days is the closing of banks as well. Bank has been closed two days for the Deduction of Zakat, this is the main cause of closing two days on the same date. Affected people are supposed to visit those centers on Tuesday 28 th April.

It is notified by the State Bank of Pakistan that all banks in the country will stay closed for communal interaction and services on 27 April 2020 for Zakat deduction and will be normalized on routine services on Tuesday, 28 April.

اسٹیٹ بینک آف پاکستان کی جانب سے مطلع کیا گیا ہے کہ ملک کے تمام بینک زکوٰت کی کٹوتی کے لئے 27 اپریل 2020 کو فرقہ وارانہ بات چیت اور خدمات کے لئے بند رہیں گے اور 28 اپریل بروز منگل معمول کی خدمات پر معمول بن جائیں گے۔

Due to Bank Holidays Govt decided to Close process under Ehsaas Program Payment Centers

The amount of Zakat deduction called Nisab, has been fluctuating every year. This year the amount of Nisab is fixed at Rs. 46,329 for saving accounts, business accounts (profit and loss sharing accounts), and other related accounts with the least balance mentioned. Current accounts and foreign accounts are not illegible for this Zakat deduction. While the opening and closing timings of banks supposed to follow the Ramazan Timing which is mention Business (Banking) Hours:
