1. It is declared that as per Pakistan Engineering Council and UET regulations, candidates having the following qualification are only eligible to apply to various undergraduate programs offered by UET.

2. Students who have been completed the intermediate exams successfully under FSc Pre-engineering or equivalent education (A-levels).

3. The applicants having DAE, B.Tech. Or any equivalent examinations can apply for the Entry Test of ECAT. Every year UET Lahore manages the exams centered on four subjects; Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and English. Chemistry may be exchanged by statistics or computer science.

4. There is no specific restriction on appearing in the Entry Test. However, it is not mandatory that a candidate must get admission or has the right to get admission in the Engineering and Engineering Technology institutions of Punjab.

How to register Online in UET Lahore Entry Test 2020?

Entry Test tokens will accessible from the selected HBL branches on payment of Rs 1200/- from 6th May 2020 to 1st June 2020. A detailed guideline about the criteria is provided on the UET admission portal. Applications that have been submitted online only, will be considered. There is no need to visit any place for such a purpose. The admit card will also be printed on line by the applicant from the web portal.

First of all, fill the Entry Test application on-line by logging into the web link admission.uet.edu.pk (with the help of the token serial number and token number).

The Test would be of Intermediate level. It will be presented in the following combinations of groups:

After filling the basic information, you will be requested to upload your recent passport size colored photograph with a light background (Picture format JPG, PNG, Max File up to 1.0 MB).

Make sure that a suitable photograph with a light background is uploaded. This photograph will become a future reference as part of an official record. The candidate cannot change the photograph after the printing of Admit Card.

Applicants may choose any Test Center and Session Time Slot provided at the time of filling the application form. It is advised that student should choose the center according to his convenient nearest their residence/district of domicile, as the number of seats is limited in each Center during each Time Slot, they will have to choose an alternate Test Center or Time Slot if all seats during a time slot in a Center of their choice have been filled.

Your admit card would be created immediately. The last date for data entry and generation of ADMIT CARD on-line is 2nd June. Reprint of Admit Cards is acceptable until the day of the test.

It has been seen over many past years UET has made ECAT more difficult yearly that only some of the genius and over talented student could score a maximum 300 out of 400. Without using the calculators it is hard to get maximum marks.

The negative marking of ECAT is a critical part of the test. With every correctly answered scoring 4 marks, the wrong answer -1 mark and skipped MCQs with 0 marks. This means that if an applicant has 40 correct answers, 40 wrong answers and 20 blanks (no answers), he/she would get the following marks:
| 40 x 4 + 40 x (-1) + 20 x (0) | = 160 – 40 + 0= 120 marks out of maximum 400. |
