Corona confirmed among 40 inmates at Karachi Central Jail.

After the diagnosis of corona virus in 40 inmates of Karachi Central Jail, samples of 300 more inmates were also obtained.

According to jail officials, samples of 150 inmates were taken at Central Jail Karachi four days ago, out of which 40 inmates tested positive for corona, after which the affected inmates have been quarantined.

According to prison officials, only one inmate was tested for symptoms, while those who tested positive for corona have no symptoms at the moment, but all possible precautions are being taken.

Prison officials said samples have also been taken for the corona test of 300 more inmates and more than 30 prison officials, the results of which are expected today
