No More Pakistani Movies Will Be Released on This Eid

The screening of all Pakistani films released on Eid-ul-Fitr has been stopped along with the loss of Pakistani filmmakers due to Corona virus.


The corona virus has gripped the entire world due to which the global economy is under threat, the producers of Hollywood, Bollywood and Lollywood films are also in danger of losing crores of rupees.

Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan’s film “The Legend of Mula Jutt” comedy-romantic film “Tich Button” released on Eid-ul-Fitr and other films released in Rawalpindi, Islamabad will not be released. It has been decided that the release of the films will be announced when the situation improves.

A senior official of the Central Board of Film says that the corona virus has damaged the film industry all over the world. The screening of films made in Pakistan is banned. Censorship certificates were issued to films in March.

Commercial and non-commercial films are allowed to be screened under the agency. The federal government has closed cinema halls for the safety of the people. Under the new SOPs, these films will be screened when the government gives permission. ۔
