The statement of the notification shows that “The Prime Minister has been
satisfied to eliminate Dr.Firdous Ashiq Awan from the office of Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting with instantly.”

The Federal Minister for Science and Technology shown contentment to the
selection of the two ministers on Twitter on their new appointment.
Soon after the revelation, Twitter started leaning with the news of the selection of Lt Gen (R) Asim Bajwa and Shibli Faraz backing the decision of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The retired general has been serving as the Chairman of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) authority and was the head of the military’s media wing. Shibli Faraz, the son of famous poet Ahmad Faraz, was selected as Leader of the House in Senate. He has also worked as chairman of the Senate’s standing committee on commerce.
It is informed by an authentic source that an intelligence organization had
recently acknowledged the Prime Minister’s Office about the suspected
involvement of Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan and a senior official of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in presenting government advertisements to some media houses in the shape of bribes.
