Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated with religious fervor in Pakistan today

The moon of Shawwal has appeared in Pakistan after which Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated across the country on Sunday, May 24.

A meeting of the Central Route Hilal Committee was held in Karachi under the chairmanship of Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman to observe the moon of Shawwal.

The meeting was also attended by meteorologists. In addition, meetings of Zonal Ruwit Hilal Committees have been held in other provinces from where the evidence was sent to the Central Ruwit Hilal Committee.

Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman said that reports of sighting of moon from Pasni were received, information was clear in most places, sufficient evidence was received, it took a long time to verify the evidence and all aspects were considered.

Mufti Muneeb said that in the current situation of Corona, the nation should offer special prayers. The whole world is surrounded by the great epidemic of history. May Allah save the whole world from this epidemic. Congratulate each other on Eid but be careful. It is better to greet each other with Eid.

In this regard, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has said that when Eid will be and when the moon will rise is no longer such a big issue. What is announced today is welcome.

The Federal Minister said that he would not accept the argument that seeing the moon is related to religion, he would not accept the argument that if you see the moon through glasses, you can see it with fine and modern technology, but Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman is our elder. Will continue to respect, seeing the moon is not a religious matter.

He said that the credit for having an Eid in Pakistan today also goes to the Prime Minister.

Earlier, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry had claimed that the moon would be clearly visible through binoculars today.

Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Malaysia and Qatar did not see the Shawwal moon yesterday and Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated in these countries on Sunday, May 24. However, Bangladesh has announced Eid-ul-Fitr on May 25.
