Federal Minister for Education informed about the exams plan of school and college

ARY Pakistan Channel invited Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood for an interview to get answers to many questions of Pakistani students. The TV anchor first asked the Federal Minister of Education that many students want to know that the decision to pass all the students without boards exams has created a lot of confusion and please tell us how long it takes for clarity.

Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood presented his answers in the following points:

  1. In his reply, the Federal Minister of Education said that there is no any confusion. First of all, the straight forward thing is that for the sake of children’s health, we have closed all educational institutions till July 15.
  2. For the sake of children’s health and there was a program to test about 4 million children, it was a huge number, so we consulted on it and the result was that it could also be a threat. So we have not postponed all the exams but canceled them.
  3. There was a broad formula that they would be promoted based on the results of their previous class board exams.

Eighty percent of the students are now satisfied with this policy, but there are many more categories of students, for example: private students who want to improve their grades, what to appear in exams if they fail in a subject, those who were to take the composite exam and also those who have taken the FSC exam but want to repeat. Now there is a committee on the category of twenty to twenty-five per cent, which includes the chairmen of twenty-nine boards. We have assigned them to those issues which are specific to children. We said, give us advice on how to tackle them.
