GC University has released a new schedule for M.Phil admissions:

Government College University has released new schedule for M.Phil / MS admissions, soliciting entry test forms for admissions.

Government College University has issued a new admission policy in view of the lockdown and the current situation. According to the policy approved by Vice Chancellor Dr Asghar Zaidi, the university will receive applications through postal services and no manual forms will be received from candidates. According to the new schedule, the GAT test will be held on August 15 and 16. Candidates will be able to submit their application for admission till July 24. All admissions instructions and details have been posted on the university’s website.

GC University has released a new schedule for M.Phil admissions

On the other hand, the Pakistan Engineering Council has decided to give temporary accreditation of engineering degrees till the lockdown. With the temporary accreditation, students will be able to get engineering degrees. Pakistan Engineering Council will provide temporary accreditation facility only to graduating class. In this regard, PEC has also issued a policy document. Temporary accreditation of engineering degree will be considered keeping in view the basic facilities.

According to the PEC, after inspecting the facilities, the Engineering Council will give temporary accreditation without a visit. After the lockdown, the team of Pakistan Engineering Council will also visit the concerned university to inspect the facilities. Temporary accreditation will also be revoked for not having the required facilities for engineering degree.

The PEC has made it clear that there will be no compromise on the lab facilities and engineering requirements for engineering degrees, and that the council team will visit universities after the lockdown is over.
