Gold continues to depreciate in the country while the rupee has weakened further against the dollar.

The price of gold has dropped by Rs 100 per tola. According to Sindh Sarafa Bazar Jewelers Association, after a reduction of Rs 100, the price of gold per tola in the country has gone up to Rs 112,700.

The value of 10 grams of gold has decreased by Rs 86 to Rs 96,622. According to the association, the price of gold in the global exchange market fell by ڈالر 16 to 85 1,859 an ounce.

The dollar continued to appreciate for the second day in a row in the domestic exchange markets.

The dollar rose 79 paise in the interbank market today. At the end of the business day, the value of the dollar in the interbank market is 160 rupees 62 paise.

In two days, the value of the dollar has risen by Rs 2.32 in the interbank exchange market. In the open market, the dollar rose by 80 paise to Rs 161.
