Good news for subject specialist teachers across Punjab:

The school education department has issued orders to make 259 headmistresses and 106 subject specialists permanent across Punjab. On the other hand, 129 elementary school teachers are likely to be given promotions in these services.

According to the details, the school education department has issued orders to make 259 headmistresses and 106 subject specialists permanent. The said headmistresses and subject specialists were recruited in grade 17. Permanent orders have been issued on completion of 5 year contract. According to the school education department, headmistresses and subject specialists will be able to get annual increments after promotions.

On the other hand, Departmental Promotion Committee meeting of District Education Authority Lahore will be held. 129 elementary school teachers are likely to be given these service promotions. The meeting will consider giving promotions to 129 elementary school teachers. Education CEO Pervez Akhtar Khan said that the documents of 72 female teachers and 57 male teachers would be checked. He further said that all teachers would be given promotions on merit.
