Good News For Insaf Program Teachers

The Program Monitoring and Implementation Unit released Rs. 72 million in salaries to teachers teaching in Insaaf program schools.

According to the details, the Program Monitoring and Implementation Unit has issued compensation for the third quarter to the teachers teaching in the Insaaf Program schools. Rs. 72 million has been released to the Insaaf program schools for the third quarter, February and March.

PMIU has issued letter to all the authorities of Punjab for payment of compensation. Earlier, first and second quarter compensation has been paid to Insaf schools.

It may be recalled that the District Education Authority Lahore had released Rs. 209.1 million for starting Insaf School program in 100 rented buildings. The said schools were started from the new academic year.

However, there are some institutions where teachers have been deprived of their salaries for three months. The teachers teaching in Insaf School in Lahore are worried about non-payment of salaries. The District Education Authority has called for applications to address the shortage of teachers in seven Insaaf schools in Lahore.

On the other hand, the District Education Authority Lahore has called for working papers for the promotion of teachers. The decision is likely to give promotions to more than 250 teachers in Lahore. Elementary school teachers will be promoted to the post of senior school teacher, while primary school teachers will be promoted to the post of elementary school teachers. DPC will be held on May 30 to give promotions to teachers.
