Good News for Vocational and Technical Students

The good news for vocational students is that they will be promoted to the next classes without taking exams. According to Punjab government sources, the industry department has postponed all the examinations of students studying under the Punjab Technical Education Board due to the situation caused by corona virus.

It has been decided to promote all the students of technical education in the next classes without passing the examination. The policy of promoting the students in the next classes will be introduced in the next one or two days.

It may be recalled that due to Corona virus, no ninth and intermediate examinations will be held in Punjab this year. Twelfth grade marks will be doubled and twelfth grade results will be prepared. This will benefit 4.1 million students of the province. However, the proposal to test 119,000 students in three special categories, including supplementary and composite, has been approved.

It is clear that the whole world, including Pakistan, has been infected with the corona virus. According to the latest figures from the National Command and Operations Center, the number of confirmed cases of corona in the country has reached 42,125.

During the last 24 hours, 1,974 new cases were reported, 15,446 in Punjab, 16,377 in Sindh, 6,061 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 2,692 in Balochistan, 540 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 947 in Islamabad and 112 in Azad Kashmir. Cases were reported.
