Government employees announced a sit-in

All Punjab Government Employees Grand Alliance officials presented a charter of demand at a press conference and also announced a sit-in protest and sit-in. Speaking at a press conference in Lahore, All Punjab Government Employees Grand Alliance officials said that this is perhaps the first time in history that the salaries of government employees have not been increased in the annual budget 2020 on the pretext of empty coffers. There are also departments whose allowances have been drastically increased, which has practically multiplied their salaries. Including increase in the rates of executive and utility allowances of the judiciary and bureaucracy and increase in the salaries of FIA employees, executive allowance for the police.

Under pressure from the IM, a new policy is now being introduced for government employees under which the protection of an employee from serving up to the age of 60 is lifted, the annual increment is not made part of the basic salary, and employees are deprived of a pension. Karna and many such anti-employee measures are under consideration. In view of all this, a meeting of employee unions from all over Punjab was held in Multan on July 4 in which All Pakistan Clerks Association, United Front of Teachers Punjab, Tehreek-e-Ustad Punjab (College Wing), Lady Health Workers Association, Sub Engineer Central officials of other organizations including Z Association, Anjuman Patwarian, Board of Education Employees Association, Class Four Employees Association participated.
