HEC announces university exams 2020 after July 15

The Higher Education Commission convened a meeting of the Vice Chancellors today. The formula for online exams was also considered and its suggestions will be sent to the government. ۔ Sources said that if the situation is not brought under control by May 31, the examinations will be held after July 15.

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) today (Tuesday) convened a meeting of Vice Chancellors on the issue of closure of educational institutions till July 15 due to Korna. The meeting was chaired by HEC Chairman Tariq Banuri. The examination strategy was formulated at the HEC meeting. The meeting was attended by Vice Chancellors of universities across the country through video link. According to HEC sources, the meeting considered formulating a strategy for student examinations during the closure of universities and if the Corona epidemic is brought under control by May 31, some sectors of universities could be reopened.

According to sources, if the situation is not brought under control by May 31, the exams will be held after July 15, while the formula for online exams will also be considered due to Corona. After the HEC consultation, the proposals were sent to the government and after the approval of the federal government, the final course of action will be announced.
