In Board Exams Year 2020 No Student will fail

The Punjab government has prepared its recommendations regarding board examinations. No student will fail this year. It was also recommended that those who did not take the examination this year and those who took supply in Intermediate Part I should also pass by giving average marks.

The Punjab Board Committee of Chairmen has made important recommendations regarding board examinations, according to which 11 categories of supplementary, composite, repeat and improve students have been made, which is 7% of the total students, but Students will be allowed to take the exam next year if they wish.

According to the recommendations, 9th class students will be promoted to 10th class, first year students will be promoted to 12th class, eleventh class marks will be doubled and part II result will be prepared.

All the recommendations prepared by Punjab will be presented in the inter-provincial meeting to be held tomorrow under the chairmanship of the Federal Minister for Education, however, the final notification will be issued after the approval of the federation.

On the other hand, the Punjab Teachers Union has demanded a review of the decision to keep schools closed till July 15 and cancel the board exams. Failure to do so may adversely affect student performance.

It is to be noted that Corona virus is spreading rapidly all over Punjab including Lahore. There are 5705 confirmed patients of Corona in Lahore. 11,868 people in Punjab have been infected with Corona virus. Schools, colleges and universities are closed.
