Lockdown will continue in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from today to Sunday

PESHAWAR: Lockdown will continue in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from today to Sunday in view of the deteriorating situation due to Corona virus.

Information Adviser Ajmal Wazir said that lockdown will remain in all cities of KP from today to Sunday, only business activities are allowed from Monday to Thursday.

He said that after 5 pm, all the shops except the essential ones would remain closed, only general stores, vegetable, fruit and meat shops would remain open.

The barber and salon will be open 3 days a week, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the information adviser said.

Ajmal Wazir said that strict implementation of SOPs would be ensured to protect against corona virus.

Clearly, the number of Corona cases is increasing day by day across the country, so far the total number of cases has exceeded 64,000, out of which more than 8,000 cases are from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the highest number of deaths has been reported in the province.
