Proposals for promotion in 10th and 12th classes are under consideration. In case of delay in the examinations, the distribution of papers can be done for one to one and a half hours. On the basis of new marks on cancellation, average marking with 5% extra marks will be given.

Board Exams News to Promote 9th Class
Karachi (Staff Reporter) The Inter-Board Committee of Chairman has prepared proposals for postponement or cancellation of annual Matriculation and Inter examinations across the province due to the situation caused by the Corona virus. According to details, a meeting of the Forum IBCC (Inter-Board Committee of Chairmen) of the Heads of 7 Education Boards of Sindh was held on Monday at the Board of Technical Education, Karachi. Chairman of Board of Intermediate Education Karachi and Board of Matric and Intermediate Education Hyderabad participated.

Punjab Board Exams News to Promote Inter Class
Chairman of Board of Matric and Intermediate Education Sukkur, Larkana and Mirpur Khas participated through video link. It was suggested in the meeting that in case of delay in conducting the examinations, the papers would be distributed in two queues for one to one and half hours and all papers would be done with MCQs.

In case of cancellation of examinations, tenth and twelfth marks will be marked on the basis of ninth and twelfth marks with 5% additional marks. These proposals are being sent to the Department of Education for consideration and final decision. The Department of Education will convene a meeting of the steering committee and approve it, which is expected next month.

During the meeting, it was revealed that some Punjab education boards had already taken some matriculation papers before the lockdown started. According to some boards, they have printed exam copies and exam papers, so it will be difficult for them to make such a decision immediately.
اجلاس میں پنجا ب کے چند تعلیمی بورڈز کا مو قف سامنے آیا کہ وہ میٹرک کے کچھ پرچے لاک ڈاون شروع ہو نے سے قبل ہی لے چکے تھے۔ کچھ بورڈزکے مطابق وہ امتحانی کاپیا ں اور امتحانی پرچے پرنٹ کروا چکے ہیں لہذا ان کے لیے فوری طور پر اس قسم کا فیصلہ مشکل ہو گا۔
