AIOU Matric and Inter exams are not cancelled. Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) Islamabad has confirmed that its matriculation and inter examinations will be conducted as per schedule. The historic decision of the Government of Pakistan to abolish Matriculation and Inter-Board Examinations applies only to the Boards, so it will not affect the AIOUs examination.

The university has not yet made any decision on ending the exams and the university administration has also formally announced that all the papers will be taken as per the schedule. Earlier, Allama Iqbal Open University has also released the schedule of matriculation and inter examinations.

As stated in the previously released schedule, the Marticulation and Inter examinations of the first semester of AIOU will start from September 1. Matric and Intermediate results will also be announced on November 15, 2020.
