Lahore, Pakistan: Students of medical and dental colleges will not be promoted to the next classes without examinations. Supplementary examinations, which have been postponed due to Corona, will begin in June, immediately after Eid al-Fitr. Students prepare for exams. You will not get discounted marks for passing the exams. The announcement was made after a meeting of the Vice Chancellors of public and private medical universities of the province at the University of Health Sciences on Monday. The meeting was chaired by VCUHS Professor Javed Akram.

Medical and Dentral Colleges Admissions 2020 in Pakistan
It was reviewed to formulate a uniform policy regarding medical examinations and online classes. Prof. Javed Akram said that sending students to the next classes without examinations would cause irreparable damage to the quality of medical education. Exams postponed after Eid will be conducted according to the principles of social distance. Professor Aamir Zaman Khan said that online classes have started in medical colleges.
It was also agreed to use Microsoft Teams software for online classes. It was also decided that the ongoing academic session of medical and dental colleges would be concluded on time. The session will not be moved forward. Examinations for the 2019-20 session will begin in October this year. Medical universities also supported FSC examinations and MD CAT. Prof. Javed Akram said that he would make suggestions to the PMDC and the federal government in this regard. The Governor will also request Punjab to convene a meeting of all stakeholders as this is an important issue.
He added that the medical entry test could be taken by the end of September. The procedure will be decided at the PMDC meeting. Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal said that a calendar has been prepared for the examinations. Professor Amir Zaman Khan said that the decisions taken in this meeting would also be approved by their respective academic councils. Prof. Zafar Ali Chaudhry said that people are also preparing for Eid so what is the harm in preparing for exams.
