Mosque video recording case  Interim bail granted to Saba Qamar and Bilal Saeed

LAHORE: The Sessions Court has granted interim bail to actress Saba Qamar and singer Bilal Saeed in a video recording case in a mosque.

The Lahore Sessions Court heard a case against Saba Qamar and Bilal Saeed for recording a music video at the historic Wazir Khan Mosque in Lahore. Additional Sessions Judge Wasim Akhtar heard the interim bail application of Saba Qamar and Bilal Saeed. Plaintiff’s lawyer Farhat Manzoor Chandio appeared in opposition to the bail application of the accused.

On the other hand, the case of actress Saba Qamar and Bilal Saeed was also heard in Karachi City Court. Taking a stand, the petitioner said that the actors along with their colleagues filmed dancing and singing in the mosque. The actors violated the sanctity of the mosque and hurt the feelings of Muslims. The court directed the plaintiff Liaqat Gabol Advocate to present the names of the management of Wazir Khan Mosque and the officers of the Endowment Department.
