Notification of Punjab Technical Board reduced exams fees by 40%:
LAHORE: Punjab Board of Technical Education has issued a notification to reduce examination fees by 40%.
According to a spokesperson of the Punjab Board of Technical Education, admission fees can be submitted till June 15 with a 40% reduction. All regular students will be promoted as per government policy while private students will be examined at appropriate times.
According to the spokesman, the 40 per cent reduction in fees has been made on the instructions of the provincial minister for industry Mian Aslam Iqbal.

It is to be noted that educational activities in the country have been suspended due to corona virus and it has been decided to promote all students up to 12th standard without taking exams.
The federal government had announced that all board exams this year had been canceled, but we later saw opposition to the decision.
Students Promotion Policy for Board Exams 2020
As we are all aware that according to the promotion policy of the government regular students will be promoted and private students will have to sit for the board exams. It has not yet been confirmed whether private students will be called for the annual examination or not. Students will be regularly informed by the government after final notice to prepare themselves according to the schedule of annual examinations. The Punjab Board of Technical Education is now just waiting for the final announcement of the government on how to promote all the stunts as per the promotion policy.
Exams Fee Concession in Punjab Board of Technical Education
The subject of schools and examinations has been under discussion for a long time. On the other hand, online classes have also started in government colleges. A policy document has been prepared in this regard. Online classes are being launched through cable TV, WhatsApp and mobile apps. After all these decisions, concerns were being raised about school and examination fees, in which relief has now been given to Punjab students. In this regard, the Punjab Board of Technical Education has reduced the examination fees. According to the spokesperson, the fees have been reduced by 40%, after which the admission fees can be submitted till June 15.
