The Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) has revealed that it has benefited the private universities from forgery. It has changed the proceedings of the meeting and issued wrong meeting minutes.

According to details, a letter written by Secretary Specialized Health Care and Medical Education Nabil Awan to the Punjab Higher Education Commission has exposed the forgery of PHEC. He tried to benefit the International University from forgery.

Despite the recording of the meeting, the Health Department’s objections were not included in the minutes. Despite repeated requests from the Health Department representative, the PHEC did not provide a detailed working paper before the meeting. The Inquiry and Inspection Committee did not provide the required basic information.

The PHEC has no legal authority on the merits of individual cases. No decision was taken to re-hear the private universities during the meeting. The Chairman PHEC tried to get a vote against the decision of all the members. The EC’s voting process is absolutely illegal.

The minutes of the proceedings of the commission meeting should be re-prepared, all the objections of the health department should be made part of the minutes.
