PIA forms 4-member team to investigate plane crash

PIA plane crash in Karachi.

The federal government has formed a four-member team to investigate the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plane crash in Karachi.

The Aviation Division has also issued a notification to investigate the accident, according to which the investigation team will be headed by Air Commodore Muhammad Usman Ghani.

Wing Commander Malik Mohammad Imran, Group Captain Tauqeer and Nasir Majeed are members of the investigation team.

According to the notification, the inquiry will be completed within a month of the formation of the committee.

It is to be noted that the national airline flight PK8303 crashed while landing and the plane crashed at 2:37 am while 98 people including 7 crew members were on board.

Several people are feared dead and injured as a result of the accident.
