Positive trend in stock market, dollar became expensive, gold became cheaper
In the interbank market, the dollar appreciated by 13 paise, while the stock market remained positive today and gold fell by Rs 200 per tola.
In the interbank exchange market, the dollar rose by 13 paise to 158 rupees 30 paise, while in the open market, the dollar fell by 5 paise to 158 rupees 25 paise.
According to Sindh Sarafa Bazar Jewelers Association, the price of gold in the country has come down by Rs 200 to Rs 112,350 per tola.
The price of 10 grams of gold has come down by Rs 171 to Rs 96,322.
According to the association, the price of gold per ounce in the global barter market has dropped by ڈالر 4 to 88 1,888.
The Pakistan Stock Exchange rose 147 points at the end of trading today and the 100 Index closed at 40,652 points.
The 100 Index remained in the 458-point band during the trading day and 150 million shares were traded at Rs7.47 billion in the stock market today.
Market capitalization has increased by Rs 18 billion to Rs 7,470 billion.
