PTI wins GBA-3 Gilgit-3 election campaign
According to unofficial results of Gilgit-Baltistan Legislative Assembly constituency GBA-3 Gilgit-3, PTI candidate Syed Sohail Abbas won with 6873 votes.
Elections for GBA-3 Gilgit-3 seat were postponed due to death of PTI candidate Jaffar Shah and polling took place here today.
Despite the cold weather in Gilgit, a large number of female and male voters exercised their franchise.
Polling in the constituency continued uninterrupted from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
According to unofficial and unconfirmed results of all 73 polling stations of the constituency, PTI candidate Syed Sohail Abbas was declared the winner with 6,873 votes.
Independent candidate Dr Muhammad Iqbal came second with 4,678 votes.
