Russain President Offered Coronavirus Vaccine to other countries

Russian President Vladimir Putin has offered to give his country the Sputnik V vaccine, a coronavirus made in his country, to other countries.

According to a foreign news agency, the offer by the Russian president came at the Virtual Summit of the Group of 20 (G20) economies in Saudi Arabia.

“We are ready to give the Sputnik V vaccine to other countries of the world. In addition, we are working on the preparation of the second and third vaccines,” he said.

“We all have a common mission to develop a vaccine against corona,” he said.

It is believed that Russia developed Sputnik V several months ago and it is the first vaccine to be registered in Russia.

Recently, it was claimed with reference to this vaccine that ‘Sputnik V’ vaccine has proved to be more than 90% effective against Corona.

Oskana Drapkina, director of a research institute run by the Russian Ministry of Health, said that while the results of the vaccine trial were being monitored, the good news was that the results were more than 90 percent positive.

The claim by Russian authorities to develop the vaccine came at a time when the US company Pfizer had claimed success in developing a vaccine for the corona virus.

According to reports, the vaccine can be kept at minus 18 degrees Celsius in the first seed of Sputnik V, but now efforts are being made in the new seed to keep it at 2 to 8 degrees Celsius.
