Severe damage to mango, cotton and other crops from locust heart attack
Locusts attacked different areas of Multan, Rajanpur, Muzaffargarh district and Kandhkot.
The locust heart attack has severely damaged mango, cotton and other crops, while rice crop has also been destroyed.
Farmers have demanded the government to spray by air instead of spraying on specific areas.

According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, due to locust attacks, Pakistan will have to lose about 393 billion Pakistani rupees in winter crops and another 451 billion Pakistani rupees in summer crops.
