State Bank will not issue Fresh currency note on this Eid-ul-Fitr 2020

Latest updates about State Bank of Pakistan Fresh Currency: State Bank Pakistan (SBP) will not issue Fresh currency note on this Eid-ul-Fitr 2020.

According to the notification issued by the Currency Management Department of (SBP) that Fresh Bank Notes will not be issued on the Islamic Festival of Eid-ul-Fitr 2020.

An authentic source explained the notification that was issued in a meeting of the committee of COVID -19, chaired by the Director-General Banking and FMRM on 29 April 2020, approved that Fresh Bank Notes will NOT be issued on this Eid-ul-Fitr 2020, which can become the cause of the spread of coronavirus outbreak. A notice has been circulated to its current and former workers also. It directed all chief managers to publicize the instructions to concerned officials.

Qamar Zaman SBP spokesperson announced that the bank will do its casual activity of printing fresh currency notes but the new notes will not be distributed in public as every year it has done.

As the remembrance of previous notification of SBP issued on March 24, SBP directed all banks of Pakistan to provide authenticated and disinfected notes to the public. It has been also directed by the SBP that all the currency notes or cash collected by the clinics and hospitals would be sealed to control the circulation of these currency notes in the market.

مارچ 24کو اسٹیٹ بینک کے پچھلے نوٹیفکیشن کے بارے اگر بات کرتے ہیں جس میں اسٹیٹ بینک نے پاکستان کے تمام بینکوں کو ہدایت کی کہ وہ عوام کو مستند اور جراثیم سے پاک نوٹ مہیا کریں۔ اسٹیٹ بینک نے یہ بھی ہدایت کی ہے کہ کلینک اور اسپتالوں کے ذریعہ جمع کردہ تمام کرنسی نوٹ یا نقد کو مارکیٹ میں ان کرنسی نوٹوں کی گردش کو کنٹرول کرنے کے لئے سیل کردیا جائے گا۔
