Lahore, Pakistan: Punjab Minister for Education and Higher Education Raja Yasir Humayun has said that the 10th exams will be marked. It is also proposed to take composite examinations for 10th and 12th next year. The final decision is to be taken by the federal government.

The meeting reviewed the situation after the cancellation of examinations and made various suggestions. Talking to media, Raja Yasir said that the matriculation examinations which were held would be marked. The real issue is the examinations of Intermediate Part-II which There are various suggestions for, students should be admitted in medical and engineering on the basis of entrance test marks, students who had to appear in the supplementary examinations this year should be given grace marks and passed in two subjects. The students who will accept this option will be passed, the rest will wait for the exams next year.

Sources said that the meeting also considered the option that work is underway to compile the record of such category students. All the suggestions are being sent to the federal government and the final decision will be taken by the federation.
