Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that the Afghan peace process has entered its final stage.
In a statement on his visit to Afghanistan, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that talks on the Afghan peace process were underway in Doha and the peace process had entered its final phase while Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit to Kabul was aimed at reiterating the same message. We will continue our full support in this regard.
He said that the visit to Kabul was aimed at expanding Pak-Afghan bilateral relations, adding that important meetings were held with the Afghan leadership on enhancing bilateral economic cooperation.
The Foreign Minister said that Afghanistan was looking forward to the visit of Prime Minister Imran Khan. Prime Minister Imran Khan has invited the Afghan President to visit Pakistan.
