Heatstroke occurs when the human body sweats rapidly to keep the internal temperature low so that the body can be cooled from the outside.

But if the internal deficiency of water created by sweating is not met immediately, the body’s natural cooling system becomes inoperable due to lack of water and salts and man suffers from deadly diseases like fatigue, dizziness or fever.

As the recent heat wave is approaching during Ramadan, medical experts advise to avoid heatstroke while fasting and don’t go out of the shade unnecessarily and take precautions if you are forced to go out.

When going out, wear a wet cloth over your head and shoulders and wear light-colored clothing, as far away from the rush as possible and in a shady place.

Be sure to use an umbrella to protect yourself from the sun and eat cool foods at dawn and iftar.
