The government has failed to improve police performance

Claims have been made by the government to improve the performance of the police, crime has increased as compared to last year, the Prime Minister also expressed anger over the performance report of the Punjab Police.City Forty-two has received the performance report of the police submitted to Prime Minister Imran Khan since September 1. According to the report, the number of murders has increased this year as compared to last year, after 168 additional incidents. The total number is 3034.Thefts also increased compared to last year, with 11,338 incidents of theft last year, while the number rose to 13,323 after 1985 additional incidents this year, with robberies and murders increasing by 3% this year. Last year, 100 robberies were reported and this year, 105 people were killed

If we talk about the incidents of rape, these incidents have increased as compared to last year. In the year 2019, 2565 cases of rape were reported while in the first nine months of this year, 2523 cases were reported. The rate of gang rape cases has also increased as compared to last year, last year 149 king rapes were registered while this year 132 cases have been registered in just nine months.Last year, 30 cases of murder were registered after rape, while this year, 17 cases of child abuse have also been registered. Last year 516 cases of child abuse were reported in nine months of this year, similarly last year 102 cases of abuse of young girls were registered while in the current nine months of this year 107 cases have been registered so far
