The PML-N leader once again escaped arrest

The Special Anti-Terrorism Court has extended the interim bail of 29 Muslim League leaders, including Rana Sanaullah and Capt (retd) Safdar, till October 6 in a case of vandalism outside the NAB office. Capt. (R) Safdar says that now we have to go out for 22 crore people.

Special Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Arshad Hussain Bhatta heard the bail pleas of 29 persons including Rana Sanaullah, Captain Safdar, Raushabuddin, Saif-ul-Muluk Khokhar, Faisal Khokhar, Mirza Javed, Shahbaz Chadhar and Malik Khalid Farooq. Azam Khan granted interim bail till October 6, on which the court extended the interim bail of all other leaders.

 

The court issued orders to the investigator on the request of Farhad Ali Shah Advocate to take CCTV footage. After the hearing, Captain Safdar while talking to media said that we respect the law. If a notice has been sent to me from Peshawar, I will definitely go. Who will provide protection?

A large number of workers including Rana Arshad, Mian Tariq, Salahuddin Pappi, Rukhsana Kausar and Malik Zeeshan were present on the occasion of their appearance in the anti-terrorism court.On the other hand, a contempt of court petition was heard in the Lahore High Court against Chief Secretary Jawad Rafique Malik on the issue of non-promotion of District Sports Officer. The court issued notice to Chief Secretary Punjab Jawad Rafique Malik and sought reply.
