The Punjab government has once again started considering opening of markets, shopping malls and bazaars for four days. The proposal to close business three days a week, Friday, Saturday and Sunday is under consideration.

A meeting of the Cabinet Sub-Committee on Corona is expected today. The meeting will review the decision of the Supreme Court and take a final decision on the proposal for the future. Commerce Minister Mian Aslam Iqbal said that Eid has passed and now SOPs will be closely monitored.

Markets that do not comply with SOPs will be closed, markets will have to eliminate encroachments, and markets will be subject to permission to eliminate encroachments.
