Donating blood is good for the human body, but the hand of a young girl who donated blood was completely paralyzed.

Gabriella Ekman, a Canadian citizen, decided to donate blood for the first time when she was 17 years old, and she thought that if her blood could save someone’s life, she should do so.

Gabriella never thought that doing so for the sake of serving the people would be too much for her.

Four years ago, Gabriella went to a blood drive to donate blood, where she was in pain when a health worker inserted a needle into her right arm to donate blood.

The health worker accidentally inserted a needle into the artery instead of the young girl’s ‘van’, which caused her to have oxygenated blood.

“I thought something was wrong, but I had never given blood before, so I had no idea,” she said.

After 10 to 15 minutes, he started having pain in his hand after which he was shifted to the hospital where the doctors did not understand anything and they sent him home.

After a few weeks, the young girl felt that her arm was unable to move and that her hand had begun to bruise from head to shoulder.

She later went to the hospital’s emergency service, where a doctor confirmed that blood had been drawn from her wrong vein while donating blood.

Doctors immediately operated on his hand, but there was no change in the pain and movement of his hand.

Gabriella underwent several medical procedures but the doctor said she was facing a unique medical condition that could not be ruled out for days, months or years.

Gabriella is now 21 years old and her hand is completely paralyzed and has not improved.

“My life is ruined,” Gabriella said. “Every time I look at myself in the mirror, I think I wanted to save someone else’s life, and it happened to me.”
