UET postpones registration for online ECAT entry test session 2020:
The University of Engineering and Technology Lahore has postponed the registration of all the joint entry tests to be held in 2020 in view of the current situation.The sale of entry test tokens has been stopped for some time by UET Lahore. As we are well aware of the news that the government has announced closure of all educational institutions till July 15 in view of an epidemic like Corona. And UET had also recently scheduled an online entry test, which was going to be the first time in history. But now UET has postponed its decision for some time and announced to stop selling tokens.
یونیورسٹی آف انجینئرنگ اینڈ ٹکنالوجی لاہور نے موجودہ صورتحال کے پیش نظر 2020 میں ہونے والے تمام مشترکہ داخلہ ٹیسٹوں کی رجسٹریشن ملتوی کردی ہے۔ یو ای ٹی لاہور کی جانب سے انٹری ٹیسٹ ٹوکن کی فروخت کچھ عرصے کے لئے روک دی گئی ہے۔ جیسا کہ ہم اس خبر سے بخوبی واقف ہیں کہ حکومت نے کورونا جیسے وبا کے پیش نظر 15 جولائی تک تمام تعلیمی اداروں کو بند رکھنے کا اعلان کیا ہے۔ اور یو ای ای ٹی نے حال ہی میں ایک آن لائن انٹری ٹیسٹ بھی شیڈول کیا تھا ، جو تاریخ میں پہلی بار ہونے والا تھا۔ لیکن اب یو ای ای ٹی نے اپنے فیصلے کو کچھ وقت کے لئے ملتوی کردیا ہے اور ٹوکن کی فروخت روکنے کا اعلان کیا ہے۔

UET has made it clear in a recent notification about its online registration portal that due to a government decision to close all schools, colleges and universities till July 15, UET Lahore, The sale of entry test tokens is also being stopped till further orders. In the coming days, the administration will soon make a decision and issue a notification for the sale of tokens for the students.
یو ای ٹی نے اپنے آن لائن رجسٹریشن پورٹل کے بارے حال ہی میں ایک نوٹیفیکیشن میں واضح بتا دیا ہےکہ حکومتی فیصلے کی وجہ سے جو کہ 15 جولائی تک تمام سکولز، کالجز اور یونیورسٹیاں بند رکھنے کا بارے میں تھا تو اس وجہ سے ہی یو ٹی انٹری ٹیسٹ کے ٹوکن کی فروخت بھی اگلے احکامات تک روکی جارہی ہے۔آنے والے دنوں میں انتظامیہ جلد ہی فیصلہ کر کے اسٹوڈنٹس کے لیے ٹوکن کی فروخت کا نوٹیفیکشن جاری کر دے گی۔
It is hoped that the authorities will soon announce a systematic policy on university admissions in the 2020 session at their meeting. And it is also hoped that this will not delay the schedule of university admissions.
اس بات کی پر امید توقع کی جارہی ہے کہ حکام جلد ہی اپنے اجلاس میں 2020 کے سیشن میں ہونے والے یونیورسٹیوں میں داخلے کو لے کر ایک منظم پالیسی کا واضح اعلان کریں گے۔ اور اس بات کی بڑی توقع کی جارہی ہے کہ اس سے یونیورسٹی داخلوں کا شیڈول ملتوی نہیں کیا جائے گا۔

Furthermore, the Government of Pakistan has also taken note of the fact that in order to save the time of the universities, the examinations of all the boards have been canceled due to non-commencement on time and all the students have passed without papers. It is clear that the university will not delay the admission in 2020
مزید برآں حکومت پاکستان کی طرف سے بھی اس بات کو اہمیت دی گئی ہے کہ یونیورسٹیوں کا وقت بچانےکے لیے تمام بورڈز کے امتحانات مقررہ وقت پر شروع نہ ہونے کی وجہ سےمنسوخ کردیئے گئے ہیں اور تمام طالب علموں کو بغیر پیپرز کے ہی پاس کر دیاگیا ہے۔،اس سے صاف ظاہر ہو تا ہے کہ یونیورسٹی بھی 2020 کے ایڈمیشن میں تاخیر نہیں کرےگی۔
