‘We will not do that now’: Indian legends resented Afridi’s speech in Kashmir

Shahid Afridi

Mayanaz Pakistani all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi, while addressing a ration distribution function in Azad Kashmir, termed Indian pilot Abhinandan, who was arrested by the Pakistan Army, as a ‘chicken’ and Narendra Modi as a ‘coward’. They got angry with him.

In his address, Shahid Afridi said that Modi has a bigger disease in his heart and mind than the corona virus and that disease is a disease of religion.

He further said that Modi will have to account for the oppression of Kashmiris for a long time both in this world and in the hereafter.

Boom Boom Afridi said that Modi tries to be brave but he is a big ‘coward’.

Many Indian cricketers resented showing a mirror to Indians and tried to vent their frustrations through social media.

Former Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh wrote that he was supporting Shahid Afridi’s foundation on humanitarian grounds but could not bear such words about the Indian Prime Minister so he would never support Afridi again.

Harbhajan Singh also succumbed to the pressure of the Indian people and said that he would never support Shahid Afridi and any other person in Pakistan.

Apart from Harbhajan and Yuvraj, Gautam Gambhir, Shekhar Dhawan and Suresh Raina, who have always fought Afridi on social media, also turned a blind eye to reality and tried to appease Indian extremists and criticized Afridi on social media.۔
