1st Year Registration on July 10 & Colleges open from August 5:

Proposals were prepared for opening colleges and admissions in Punjab. It is proposed to start the registration of Part-I students from July 10 and to confirm the admissions after the matriculation results.

According to the details, the Department of Higher Education has received suggestions prepared by DPI colleges to revive educational activities in the colleges. It is proposed to start registration for Part One from July 10, which will be online, while admissions will be confirmed once the matriculation results are released.

It is proposed to start BS Honors classes from August 5, MA and MSc classes after August 15, and Class Intermediate (Part II) from August 25. Corona’s proposal is to limit classes to 3 to 4 hours and 2 shifts. It is proposed to conduct Honors classes from morning to 12 noon and Masters program classes from 12 noon to 4 pm.

Final approval of the proposals will be given at the inter-provincial ministerial meeting. At present, online classes have been started in 615 out of 720 colleges in Punjab.
