Qualifications and Requirements

Civil Judges cum Magistrates

• An advocate who holds a degree in Law from a recognized university, allowing them to practice law
• An advocate who has actively practiced law for a minimum of two years after being enrolled as an advocate
• Age Limit: 22 to 35 years

Additional District & Session Judges

• An advocate who holds a degree in Law from a recognized university, allowing them to practice law
• A practicing advocate of the Lahore High Court and the courts subordinate to the Lahore High Court with a minimum practice of ten years
• Age Limit: 35 to 45 years

Candidates applying for the positions are advised to make sure that they are physically fit, healthy, active, energetic, willing to work for long hours, with good interpersonal skills, and fulfill all the requirements of the rules and selection criteria for the relevant post.

Age Relaxation will be permissible to in-service Government employees under the Punjab Civil Servants Recruitment (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 1976.
