A new blood test that can predict the birth of a newborn
Stanford: Pregnant women want to know the exact time of their baby’s birth. Although the best doctors in this regard evaluate in the light of their experience, but it can make a big difference. But now a blood test can predict the arrival of a little guest in the world.Anna Stelzer, a professor at Stanford University, has devised a new method. It examines the signals received from the baby that the mother’s body receives. Scientists have now developed a blood test to measure it. Interestingly, it has also been tested.Professor Anna’s team tested the blood of 53 pregnant women with approximately 100 days left to complete their pregnancies.
Two to four weeks before the baby was born, it was noticed that there was a sudden change in the female hormones and a decrease in the inflammation of the immune cells. This change was also seen in the blood chemistry which can be seen from the blood test. The blood test model included 45 biomarkers and was tested on ten more women. The results that came out were showing the date 17 days before and after their actual date.
