A new way to convert plastic into fuel at low temperatures

Delaware: US experts have invented a new way to convert plastics into fuel that is not only useful for all types of plastics but also uses very little energy while operating at very low temperatures.A recent issue of the online research journal Science Advances published an article by experts from the University of Delaware in which they developed a new, effective and low-cost “high-cost” type of plastic to get rid of. The method is explained. This new method can easily convert even types of plastics into fuel that are considered extremely difficult and almost impossible to recycle. During the initial experiments, 85% of the plastic was diesel in this way

Thus, this method is much less expensive than other existing experimental methods of plastic recycling.Although experts at the University of Delaware have patented this method and intend to bring it to commercial scale in the next 5 to 10 years, there is currently a major flaw that needs to be addressed. The downside is that this method requires a lot of water to convert the plastic into fuel. For example, only after using 150 liters of water, 3.8 liters of gasoline / petrol is obtained under this method. However, experts say they are still working to fix the bug and hope they will be able to fix it soon.
