ISLAMABAD: Corona has been confirmed in 3,191 more people in the last 24 hours in the country while 93 people have died.
According to the National Control and Operations Center, 25,527 corona tests have been conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, while a total of 1,398,352 corona tests have been conducted across the country so far.
According to statistics, the number of patients recovering from active cases is increasing across the country. In the last 24 hours, another 4,736 patients in the country have beaten Corona, bringing the number of patients recovering from Corona to 129,830, while the number of active cases is 98,444.
According to official figures, 93 more people have lost their lives to the virus in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths from Corona nationwide to 4,712.
The number of active corona patients in Punjab is less than in Sindh but the province has the highest number of deaths due to the virus. In Punjab, 1,871 people have died from corona, 1,501 in Sindh and 1,020 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. 134 people have died in Islamabad, 123 in Balochistan, 35 in Azad Kashmir and 28 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
