Palestinian officials have refused to accept UAE aid for the corona virus.

According to the Arab News Agency, the Palestinian Authority rejected the aid of the United Arab Emirates when it sent aid through the Israeli airport and refused to accept it.

“The UAE authorities have not contacted us for help, while sending aid through Tel Aviv airport is a sign of normal relations with Israel,” the Palestinian health minister told a news conference.

He said the UAE had ignored the Palestinian Authority’s offer of aid, so would reject aid without contact and would not accept it.

“We are an independent country, so the UAE authorities should have contacted us first,” he said.

It should be noted that on Tuesday, the UAE’s official plane arrived at the Israeli airport from Abu Dhabi with medical aid for Palestine, which was the first flight despite the lack of official relations between Israel and the UAE.
