Details continue on how students from 1st to 8th class will be passed
In the case of annual examinations for students in grades one to eight, school education has clarified how children pass.
According to the details, the Punjab Examination Commission has given a way to check the winter homework. If the homework is clean and presented in a good way, you will get five marks. If you do the right thing, you will get ten marks. Will Twenty marks have been allotted for oral short questions. The Department of School Education has allotted fifty marks for homework and fifty marks for annual examinations.
It should be noted that the new academic year will start from August 1 in schools across the province including Lahore. A notification has been issued by the school education department. According to the school education department, the duration of the new year will be from August 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022. The new school year will be 8 months long due to Corona. The decision was taken at a conference of provincial ministers. The provincial ministers’ conference was held on February 26.
In addition, it was decided to maintain the policy of taking classes of 50% students in educational institutions of seven districts of the province including Lahore. According to this policy, the policy of 50% student classes will be implemented in Lahore schools till March 31. From March 1, classes for all students will be banned in Lahore schools.
Fifty percent student policy will be implemented in Lahore, Gujarat, Rahim Yar Khan, Multan, Sialkot, Rawalpindi and Faisalabad districts. Due to the increase in corona cases in the said districts, classes of 100% students will not be allowed.
